Between the two companies they will offer fishing industry manufacturers, retailers and guides access to a growing database of double opt in anglers, of over 83,000. Tackle Box of Savings 50,000 fishermen database and First Light Nets 33,000+ database of fishermen are now available for the first time ever in a combined email marketing campaign. “The opportunities now available to manufacturers of fishing and outdoor products, has risen substantially”, says Keith Tauber, Publisher of Tackle Box of Savings. Also available through the partnership, fishing companies will have access to online banner advertising and other services at a reduced rate to strengthen results of their email promotion.

Tackle Box of Savings published the first ever ad only magazine that is strictly a trade magazine and mailed it to about 26,000 retail stores on August 27th 2010. This is a tremendous accomplishment especially given the climate of our economy at this time. TBOS believes that this new format magazine will help the sportfishing industry grow by offering an affordable advertising option for small to mid sized manufacturers, who normally are unable to afford expensive print advertising that is so critical in promoting their products to dealers around the nation. This also allows the mom and pop shops who receive our magazine to shop products that are not normally seen in magazines or in distributor catalogs. This means the smaller mom & pop shop can potentially carry products that large box stores do not.
