I met Scott Goodyear owner of AquaSocks at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. He created a product that I
believe every boat owner should have. I was so impressed with the concept that I bought 2 at the show.
His product makes it so easy to remove water from a gas tank that it simply makes this a must have product.
Removing water from your gasoline is critical to your boat motors well being. I know all to well this lesson.
About 3 years ago, I blew up my Yamaha 200HP motor while fishing. The cause? Plugged injector. According
to the mechanic he believes that was caused by the Ethanol that was recently added to our gasoline and
explained to me that Ethanol essentially picks up water molecules and carries it right through our fuel filters
and straight into our engine via in my case my fuel injectors. It also picks up sludge right off the bottom of
the tank and carries it also past our filters into our engines and injectors. He told me that he has seen a
dramatic increase in blown engines ever since they added Ethanol to our gas. That repair job cost me
over $4,000. Sure wish I would have had a couple of these $15 socks back then.
So take it from me and buy several of these AquaSocks, you will be glad you did.
